New Role In - Diesel Technician

Based in Kintore

Full time, permanent role

Monday-Friday 8am-5pm set hours

On call rota 1 x week in 4

Major Recruitment are recruiting a Diesel Technician for our client based in Kintore. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with proven experience in a similar position.

Overtime available @ time and a half – optional


Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair diesel generators of various makes and sizes
• Diagnose faults and perform preventative and corrective maintenance
• Conduct load testing and system checks to ensure operational reliability
• Respond to emergency call-outs and perform on-site repairs as needed
• Keep accurate maintenance logs and service reports
• Adhere to safety protocols and environmental regulations at all times

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Diesel Technician or in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
